Niall Campbell’s CV

Niall has wide executive experience of the not-for-profit sector, having run several associations and charities, merged some and split off others; he was a founder member of the Trade Association Forum Steering Group and is a director of the Institute of Association Management. He has recruited senior staff for a wide range of membership organisations – trade and employers’ associations, charities and professional bodies – and advised on strategic re-organisations, international collaboration and developing new income streams.
Niall has 20 years experience running associations and advising or recruiting for others. His earlier commercial experience includes senior management roles in finance, operations, sales and marketing and general management in several sectors including publishing, automotive, consumer durables, engineering, storage systems and business services.
He is Executive Recruitment Director of G-NET – the association for international association executives and has a strong commitment to helping organisations and individuals make the best use of “human capital”. He played a leading role in the creation of one of the trailblazer Sector Skills Councils and sat on its Council for several years. He has been a college governor and has close university and training provider links.
Niall has an Engineering degree from Cambridge, a Cranfield MBA and is a member of the Association of MBAs – and chairs its London and South-East Region – and of the Chartered Institute of Marketing as well as a wide number of other professional networks.
