Director, British Educational Suppliers Association

Location: London

Salary: £75,000

Rare and exciting opportunity to play a leading role representing and supporting suppliers to the education sector

The British Educational Suppliers Association, BESA, is a successful and expanding trade association whose members are suppliers to educational establishments in the UK and to institutions and governments around the world.

We are looking for an experienced leader and manager to succeed the current director Ray Barker when he retires later this year.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Deputising for the Director General
  • Managing relationships with a wide range of external organisations both to maintain and enhance BESA’s profile and influence and to maximise commercial opportunities for the association and its members
  • Developing and improving the relevance and value of BESA‘s services to its member firms
  • Leading a team of experienced staff

    • The successful candidate will be an excellent all-round communicator who is flexible, commercially-aware, diplomatic and a confident manager.
