Graduate engineer or technical author/editor, or senior engineer, EEMUA (Engineering Equipment and Materials Users Association)

Location: City of London

Salary £30,000 – 40,000 plus competitive benefits

Exciting and unusual opportunity for an ambitious graduate engineer or technical author/editor with excellent communications and influencing skills and some industrial or commercial experience, keen to broaden your experience and raise your profile. There is the possibility of a Manager post for more experienced candidates.

The role entails working with colleagues and working groups to manage projects to develop technical and operational guidance to the owners and operators of process plants, power stations, the petrochemicals industry and similar facilities. It reports to the Chief Executive of EEMUA.

EEMUA has an excellent reputation with regulators and in the sector and it serves the energy, process, utilities and storage industries. Its members are the users of engineering equipment.

Candidates will have an Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, Design or Chemical Engineering or a related broad Engineering discipline and will be either already of Chartered Engineer status or committed to working towards that qualification. They will need a broadly-based engineering and project management background, ideally with some experience of the production of technical documentation and have the interpersonal skills to produce results through influence and teamwork. Knowledge of another European language, in addition to English, would be an advantage
